Jason Putman is the founder of Jay Home Builders — a luxury custom home building company operating in the South and West suburbs of Chicagoland.
Jason comes from a multi-generational line of home builders. He started working professionally in the industry from a young age framing homes and completing large-scale remodeling projects.
During his college career, Jason worked in banking and investments and graduated with degrees in both Accounting and Finance. Afterwards, he managed operations for his family’s home building company before establishing Jay Home Builders. He has built nearly 100 homes in his career thus far.
Today, Jason leads the sales process, working closely with clients during the home design and planning processes and is well known for his personal approach. He also leads new lot, land and development opportunities.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, Presley and Ben.
Scott Kresal serves as Construction Superintendent at Jay Home Builders, managing and guiding the hundreds of tradesmen involved in keeping our jobs running efficiently and accurately. Scott ensures timely job site execution and maintains accuracy and quality.
Scott also works with our clients first-hand throughout the build, keeping clients informed with frequent inspections and walk-throughs.
Prior to his role at Jay Home Builders, Scott completed extensive renovation projects, including large-scale commercial buildings, apartment buildings, and single-family residential homes. Scott has years of first-hand construction knowledge vital to building exceptional homes, exactly to plan.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys golfing and spending time with his girlfriend.
Erika McCleary serves in many unique roles at Jay Home Builders from home design and client selections, to new job permitting and office management. From the very beginning, Erika is the first person to put projects into motion by coordinating with local townships and maintaining project records.
Throughout the build. Erika assists our clients with home selections and interior design for a seamless execution of their vision. Once a home is nearing completion, she ensures all financial elements are prepared for a worry-free closing.
Outside of work, Erika enjoys pickle ball, cooking, and hiking with her husband.
